A large and ornate presentation album entitled All about the May Fair in the Grounds of the Clapham Rectory including 104 photographs illustrating the "olde English" event with a focus on the vendor booths and elaborate costumes.
With a typology of 20 detailed photographs showing display booths, each adorned with a crest, exhibiting all manner of quasi-period products including dolls, boot polish, hand fans, photographs of old Clapham, and various other antiques and trinkets. The second half of the album contains approximately 76 studio portraits of individuals clad in full Rennaisance garb, the women sporting an array of Hennins and posing as princesses and members of nobility, while one man poses proudly in a full Jester costume. Silver prints, the images measuring 5 3/4x3 to 10x14 inches (14.6x7.6 to 25.4x35.6 cm.), mounted recto only to gilt-edged boards. Oblong folio, black leather, with a gilt-stamped pictorial crest and dragons, including the title and date, on the front cover. 1903
