Additional Details

Construction on the triple-screw ship began in 1914, but World War I interrupted her construction and she was only finished in 1920. She was transferred to the Royal Holland Lloyd fleet and renamed "Limburgia." She was transferred to the United States in 1922, renamed "Reliance," and was in that service when this poster was created. In 1926 she was transferred to the Hamburg-American line and kept the same name. She was gutted by fire in 1938 and never returned to service.
