Number 24 (dated 7 January 1837) includes news of the Texas victory over Santa Anna and the death of Princess Harieta, the sister of the King. Number 48 (dated 21 June 1837) includes a lengthy anti-government letter to the editor from P. A. Brinsmade regarding the expulsion of Catholic missionaries Bachelot and Short.<
