number 11 of only 40 copies signed by henke. ex-library writer doris grumbach, with two pages of original ink figure studies for the etchings, laid in, along with 3 Autograph Letters Signed by Henke to Grumbach, whom he met when she was acting director of the Iowa Writers' Workshop. She purchased a copy of the book through her Washington, D.C. bookstore, Wayward Books, the invoice for which is enclosed. The letters discuss the book's production and purchase price, along with an explanation that there were only 7 copies that carried Beckett's signature.
