In 1984 the first Fresh Festival was held in New York City. It went on to tour the country and is considered to be the second nation-wide hip hop tour (the first being the Kitchen Tour in 1982). The "Fresh Fest" became an annual event touring the country. Here, for a concert in Augusta, Georgia, featuring The Fat Boys, Heavy D & The Boyz, 4 by Four, White Boys and Salt & Pepa.
