A calendar of the important events and dates in African-American history, arranged from January to December. This chart was designed to accompany Woodson's "Handbook for the Study of the Negro." The artwork was done by Loïs Mailou Jones, who often illustrated works by Woodson's Associated Publishers. A separate issue, a bit smaller than the 27 x 19-inch version that was issued folded with the book. 4 copies in OCLC, and 2 others known at auction.
