Manuscript on vellum. 36 leaves in Gothic script in black with initials in red and blue, divisional titles featuring mostly flowers and insects, in gold and colors. 140x81 mm; 5 1/4x3 3/8 inches, cherry red velvet over boards, later rebacking in velvet, covers and bevelled edges rubbed with some surface loss; gilt and gauffered edges. A charming little hand-illuminated book of psalms much in the mid-19th century style of Owen Jones. Np, circa 1850
