Additional Details

These crisp clean photographs of Muslim social life are remarkable for several reasons, not the least of which is that, though they commemorate nuptials there is not a single picture of the bride! Nonetheless, there are wonderful processional photographs depicting opulent silver and gold gifts, towers, and silver cooking utensils being carried to the bride's house, group portraits of homosocial religious ceremonies, and more.<
