". . . [B]y request of Com. Warrington during the late extra session of Congress, I made out a statement of the prices at which I could furnish my most improved repeating Fire Arms for ships service in various quantitiez [sic] from one hundred up to 50,000, & so anxious am I to have my arms fairly tezted [sic] in the Navy that I will even take of[f] ten per cent from the prices named in my letter to Com. Warrington, on condition that time will allow me sufficient to make a new lot possessing all my late improvements."
