Kilbourne accused Isaac Galland of the illegal sale of Iowa lands which belonged to the Sac and Fox. Galland had previously been an approved agent of Joseph Smith and the Mormons, discussed on pages 21-24. Streeter cites this as the first Fort Madison imprint.
