The twin-screw motorship made her maiden voyage in February 1952. In 1960 she was transferred to South American service. She was sold to Hong Kong in 1977 and renamed "Great Sea." She is presently moored in Manila as the "Asian Princess," and is being used as a training center. She no longer cruises.
