Handsome and stately, the photographs show the animals behind bars or in their habitats, and occasionally interacting with staff. The full spectrum of a large zoo is represented, including bears, pandas, reptiles, birds, and small rodents. Some of the prints have been artistically crafted into diptychs or longer series, mixing animals or showcasing the same species. Silver prints, the images measuring 7 1/2x9 1/2 (44), 4 1/2x6 1/2 (25, 10 of which are crafted into diptychs with tape on verso), and 4 1/2x3 1/2 (14, all but one crafted into series using 1-4 prints) inches (19.1x24.1, 11.4x16.5, and 11.4x8.9 cm.).
