Folio, original pictorial cloth with vellum spine containing windows exposing binding threads; preserved in pictorial clamshell box, a touch of rubbing along edges; both designed by Jim Bicknell; Van Vliet's original protective wrapping taken from paper sheets pulled from pages 10-13 of the work and with Flaccus's name written on one side, one end torn open and with general wear. A fine copy of one of the most impressive modern american private press books and the 75th publication of the Janus Press.
