Kyobashi is the common abbreviation for Kyoto Bridge, a general name for the low-lying area that is one of the key commercial districts of Edo. This in one of the more important section maps (kiri-e-zu) of a number of pocket maps issued by the publisher which covered all of Edo (Tokyo).
