Hand-colored albumen prints, each approximately 7 1/2x9 1/2 inches (19.1x24.1 cm.), and the reverse, inserted into windows with a printed border; many with a caption and inventory number in the negative. Oblong folio, pictorial red lacquer depicting a forest landscape and birds with gilt highlights and inlay, cover partially detached; scattered foxing; all edges gilt; in the original cloth-covered box. Circa 1890
