Additional Details

together with: A set of 8 aerial reconnaissance photographs of Corregidor Island from various vantages. Each approximately 4 1/2x6 1/4 inches and tipped to larger sheets, annotated and dated in Japanese April 10, 1942 and May 7, 1942, and stamped "Gunji Gokuhi" (Military Top Secret). The battle of Corregidor took place May 5-6, 1942 and based on the dating and stamp we can surmise this group played some role in the planning of the attack on the American and Filipino forces holding out on the island.
