OVER 400 SIGNATURES (JAZZ--ALBUM.) Two autograph albums containing autographs by hundreds of musicians, mostly Signatures but many include name of instrument, often including bandleader and every member of band, some inscribed to collector, many in pencil, kept by John Redd Hutcheson, Jr. [a student at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University ("Virginia Tech")]. Most written on recto and verso, between one and 20 per page, a few on loose scraps of paper. The first album, oblong 12mo, plastic covers, perforated note pad attached to covers by metal strap. The second album, tall 12mo, board covers, spiral biding; ruled pages, a few moderately dampstained leaves. Vp, 1948-74
