Third edition. The title page states that it was published by the Congregation Beth Elohim of Charleston, SC in 5627; their 1856 copyright statement appears on verso, along with an 1866 Philadelphia printer's imprint. The volume begins with the three hymns sung at the 1840 dedication of the congregation's synagogue. This third edition is not traced in OCLC, but appears as Singerman 1933.
