Includes numerous reports on local congregations across the country, news from Europe, verse, sermons, and theological discussions. Representative articles include "Meeting of the Jewish Population of New York in Aid of Ireland" (pages 35-44), a series of "Sketches of Jewish Life in Russia," and "Religious Equality, being a Notice of Certain Movements for Particular Rights, Lately Developed in Various Quarters in the United States" (pages 499-504).
