Additional Details

Second issue of the first work published by the Kelmscott Press and the only title issued twice. This first appeared in 1891 with decorative woodcut border and initials designed and engraved by W.H. Hooper. Morris was ultimately not as pleased with Crane's woodcuts for this version as he was with Hooper's. William Morris and the Art of the Book, p. 129; Peterson A1.
