This was the record book kept by Kentucky circuit court judge Eli Shortridge (1794-1843) of the 11th District, which covered the eastern counties of Montgomery, Bath, Greenup and Floyd. The records generally give the date of the court session, a list of jury members, and very brief summaries of the cases settled.
