Additional Details

Hermione Isaacs Popper was Martin Luther King Jr,'s editor. She and her husband lived in White Plains, New York, where King would come to go over his manuscripts and approve the edits that she had made. King had asked if Ms. Popper could provide him with a rocker. The rocker was acquired in late 1966 by her nephew and his wife. A letter of provenance will be provided.
