Large 8vo, publisher's printed pictorial wrappers, spine ends a bit rubbed with some loss; protective glassine dust jackets, moderately worn; internally clean but with some splits between gatherings and a few loose signatures in second work; custom blue cloth clamshell box with gilt-lettered calf spine label. Décors et Costumes is number 12 of 15 copies on grand vélin de Holland van Gelder zonen, from a total edition of 230. Lepape illustrated these works as well as designed the original costumes, maquettes, and sets for Cora Leparcerie's 1923 stage production of Maeterlinck's fanciful tale.
