Additional Details

A hand-drawn handkerchief depicting Washington and a beardless Lincoln, surrounded by flags, an eagle, and a decorative stars-and-stripes border. Each of the flags is carefully drawn with 27 stars--a count last seen in 1846--but it was likely produced for the 1860 presidential campaign. Collins, Threads of History 273; none found in OCLC.
