Seward," to Mrs. [Mary Todd] Lincoln, sending "papers [not present] addressed to you expressive of the sentiments of sympathy and condolence of corporate bodies, associations, and individuals in Great Britain, inspired by the death of your late illustrious husband the President of the United States . . . ." 2 1/2 pages, 4to, tissue paper, three separate sheets, bound together at top left with glue; faint offsetting on terminal page, folds.
