First edition of Hughes' autobiographical memoir, with a superb inscription: 'Especially for Henry and Mollie who have lived half of this book and more with me, Sincerely, Langston, Nov. 8, 1956.' Hughes and Moon had traveled together on a junket to the Soviet Union; and a very humorous episode is recounted on pages 94 and 95.
