the rare first edition of alexander pushkin's extreme and quasi pornographic send up on how the virgin mary got pregnant. OCLC locates only three copies of this printing: Leeds, N.Y. University and Indiana (Bloomington). Not published in Russia before the Revolution for obvious reasons. However, in 1917 Lenin invited Pushkin back, greatly enjoying the writer's irreverence. Pushkin was one quarter black; his grandfather was Logon from Cameroon.
