The only reference we could find to this unusual act was in Erroll Hill and James Hatch's "History of African American Theatre" (Cambridge University Press, 2003), where she is mentioned but no birth or death dates given. It's is possible that the "Going Fine Since 1889" is a reference to her birth date, which would make her about 30 at the time of this poster.
