Additional Details

The Hull Pottery Company was established in 1905, and was best known for its Red Riding Hood cookie jar, introduced in 1943. The factory was destroyed by a fire in 1950, possibly explaining the condition of the earlier volume, which records monthly ledger totals for accounts such as pottery sales, clay supplies, casting labor, advertising, and more. Hull pottery is still widely collected.
