Ms. Baker's book bears a striking resemblance to another, from 1823 and also by a Vermont schoolgirl, in David Rumsey's collection (Rumsey 2501). The album includes many exquisite maps, especially of Tennessee, and Alabama and Mississippi, evidently derived from a contemporary printed atlas.
