Additional Details

Following Paul Poiret's attractive and successful catalogues illustrated by Iribe and Lepape, Demay commissioned noted fashion illustrator Martin to document her hats for the 1912 fashion season. As actress Berthe Cerny created the role of "La Parisienne" at the Comédie Français that year, she was chosen as the perfect model.
