The stamped photograph shows King in close-up with his face partly obscured by microphones at a press conference. The others show him at home with Coretta Scott King and their children, playing in the backyard or at the kitchen table. Although we have not traced these specific family images, they are clearly from the same sitting as a well-known 1962 series by Karales.
