Historian Francis Baylies published "An Historical Memoir of the Colony of New Plymouth" in 1830, but it was largely ignored due to poor organization and the lack of an index. It was reissued in 1866 with an index and a long 104-page appendix of "Additions and Corrections" by historian Samuel G. Drake. Drake's manuscript for this section--including a biography of Baylies--is offered here. The pages are erratically numbered and we cannot be sure they are complete.
