Additional Details

Silversmith George C. Lunt bought this factory from his employer in 1902, and named the new firm Rogers, Lunt & Bowlen. It was renamed Lunt Silversmiths in 1935. They shipped their engraved colonial-styled silverware across the country, and were known for their Embassy Scroll pattern which was in use by American embassies across the world. This archive names thousands of their customers and offers a detailed look at their business operations.
