(MASSACHUSETTS CYANOTYPES) Album with approximately 200 charming cyanotype snapshots, including numerous views of family and friends sporting in the warmer months in Eastern Massachusetts towns and along the coastline, as well as New York Harbor and Coney Island. The subjects enjoy sailing and canoeing, and include affectionate portraits of friends, Harvard baseball, and excursions. The towns depicted include Lexington, Concord, Gloucester, Hyannis Port, Boston, what seems to be some views of Connecticut, and possibly Princeton; also including dogs, children, picnics, and self-portraits (?). Cyanotypes, various sizes from 3 1/2x2 1/4 inches (8.9x5.7 cm.), and smaller, some cornered onto numbered album pages and some glued, most with a caption, in ink.
