Additional Details

Ceremonies held in New Spain in commemoration of the 1598 death of King Phillip II, including verses. "One of the most interesting things in the book is a list of the autos-da-fé celebrated by the Inquisition in Mexico up to the date of the book"--Wagner, Huntington Library 116.

Medina, Mexico, 171; Palau 267016; Sabin 69224. Collations differ among the sources, and between copies of the book. Medina calls for the two errata leaves at both the front and rear of the volume. The Austrian National Library's copy (as seen on Google Books) has these two separate sets of errata: one set with an introductory paragraph in the front of the volume, and a different set without introduction at rear. The John Carter Brown Library copy has only the set with an introductory paragraph at the rear (as seen here). None traced at auction since 1966.
