Additional Details

Second edition, though no copies are known to survive of the 1630 first edition--its existence is only known through the preliminaries here. It is essentially a guide to managing one's life as a Christian, going into more depth than a basic catechism, and resorting frequently to the words of early church fathers and theologians. It is arranged by themes such as feelings, vices, virtues, cruelty, charity, and worldly love. Medina, Mexico II:410 (first edition), 624; Palau 68127. One copy in OCLC, and none others known at auction.
