Illustrated letterpress broadside, 22 3/4 x 23 inches, printed on silk; minor wear, a few small holes, the largest 1/2 inch, additional 4 1/2 x 2 3/4-inch emblem sewn to center of the piece. Issued in honor of the medical school thesis of José García y Arrieta, and dedicated to the memory of the influential bishop Juan de Palafox y Mendoza. Another example found at the Mexican National Archives is illustrated in Antonio Rubial García's 2015 book "La santidad controvertida," but with a portrait of Palafox where the overlaid urn emblem is found here. None in OCLC, none traced in Medina or at auction.
