First edition of a work on the ecclesiastical disputes which roiled New Spain in the 1640s, centered around Bishop Palafox. "Publicado en nombre de el Dean y Cabildo de su Iglesia Catedral de la Puebla de Los Angeles." Medina, BHA 6837; Palau 4329 and 209627; Sabin 73620. [Puebla or Mexico, circa 1650].
