Additional Details

These documents cover the last few months of Santa Anna's rule, and the first few months after his exile. They include his decrees against rebels, followed by decrees revoking his taxes and issuing pardons to his allies. One highlight is an announcement of Juan Alvarez as the interim president of Mexico, 8 October 1855. Other subjects such as mining and railroads are also represented. Several of the broadsides were issued in lithographed manuscript facsimile.
