The Orden de los Hermanos de Nuestra Señora de Bethlehem, better known as the Bethlemitas or the Bethlehemite Brothers, was founded in Guatemala in 1653--the first religious order founded in the New World. They had a particular commitment to caring for the ill. This inventory is arranged by room, listing everything from food to clothing to candlesticks, as well as the medical material at the hospital. 6 pages are devoted to an inventory of the convent library.
