Three works on the ecclesiastical disputes which roiled New Spain in the 1640s, centered around the conflict between Bishop Palafox and the Jesuits.

"Testimonio de una provision del Rey Nuestro Señor." 7 printed leaves plus preliminary blank leaf. Folio, 14¼ x 10 inches, on 4 unbound folding sheets; moderate worming and foxing; uncut. A proclamation in support of the Jesuits in their extended war with Bishop Palafox. None traced at auction or in Medina. Palau 331123; one in OCLC (Instituto Tecnologico in Mexico). Puebla[?], 7 June 1647.
