A treasury of portraits, costumes, and village views encompassing 13 tribes. Frederick Starr led the expedition and wrote the comparatively brief text, but the photographs which comprise the bulk of the book were mostly taken by Charles Bryant Lang, with a few by Bedros Tartarian.
