Additional Details

A compilation of Latin poetry produced for use of the Jesuits, including some original work. Antonio Rubio, prefect of the congregation which commissioned the work, is often listed as the author. One of the finest productions of the master printer / engineer / scientist Enrico Martínez (circa 1555-1632), who may have been born as Heinrich Martin in Hamburg, and was best known for draining the Valley of Mexico in 1607.
