Small 4to, contemporary vellum; front hinge cracked; bottom 40% of the title restored in facsimile, some loss and tape repairs to the lower part of the next 3 leaves, intermittent dampstaining, foxing and soiling, final preliminary leaf short and possibly supplied from another copy, a few sidenotes cropped, a few early inked annotations; marca de fuego on top edge, embossed library stamp on title page, small inked deaccession stamp on front pastedown. Additional Details

An early catechism, confessional, and church calendar in Nahuatl, with Spanish on facing pages in some parts. This was the last known book printed by Dávalos, who used the type and press inherited from his father-in-law Antonio de Espinosa, the second printer in the New World (Woodbridge, Printing in Colonial Spanish America, page 26).
