Additional Details

An extensive list of staples which would be taxed to support the church in Puebla. Two separate lists are given, one for Spaniards and another shorter list for "los naturales." Dozens of foodstuffs are listed, including corn, sugar, pine nuts, fish, garbanzo beans, and sugar, as well as other goods ranging from tobacco to cattle. The lists are given in three columns with type ornaments between.
Medina, Puebla 60 lists a variant printing with the same title but substantially different spacing, authorized on 4 May 1662. This edition was also issued during the term of Diego Osorio de Escobar y Llamas as Bishop of Puebla between 1656 and 1673. Only one other known at auction (this variant), and one copy in OCLC.
