With 62 photographs, comprising 34 of Cuba and 28 throughout Mexico by uncredited photographers, one of whom is Abel Briquet. Includes scenes of Havanna, street tradesmen, landmark buildings, and 9 small-format reproductions of genre scenes; plus views of naval vessels in Veracruz's harbor, statues and cathedrals in Mexico City, pre-historic artifacts, and 12 fine studies of trains transporting products to cities throughout Mexico, in addition to workers constructing new tracks and stations. Albumen prints, the images measuring 3 3/4x5 5/8 (23) to 7 1/2x9 3/4 inches (29) (9.5x12.7 to 19.1x24.8 cm.), many with calligraphic captions below the image area.
