Pictures include a host of military vessels, conflicts in Africa, the South Seas, Middle East, Central America, and the Caribbean, with identified ships; views of the Boer War of 1900 and the South African War of 1899-1902; images of the Gambian, Niger, and Ashanti expeditions; behind-the- scenes images of officers, their families, and the crew; views of Sierra Leone; the Anglo-French Expedition to New Hebrides; scenes of New Caledonia, Fiji; assorted scenes of Syria, Ireland, British Honduras, Mexico, and the Rebellion in Hayti [sic] of 1914; and "looking for Germans in Bermuda"; with assorted ephemera and sketches.
