Additional Details

A manual by an artillery captain from the American Revolution, prefaced by an endorsement from his former commanding officer John Lamb. Though three volumes were planned, this was the only volume issued. Early owner John D. Timerman bought this volume for 9 shillings in 1805; he was apparently the same John D. Timmerman who served from Montgomery County, NY in the War of 1812. Evans 32878; Rink, Technical Americana 2172; Sabin 91568.
