Additional Details

A fine image of Richard S. Winslow, a shoemaker who volunteered in the 54th Massachusetts Volunteers on December 10, 1863 as a private in Company H. He was accidentally wounded in the foot at Sumter, South Carolina on April 10, 1865. He served until September of that year. He retired to South Scituate, Massachusetts. Moebs, page 521.
